Each member brings unique expertise and a shared love for environmental conservation. Together, we strive to inspire and educate the next generation of environmental stewards. Julie Kimutai
Teacher, Educational Consultant, Educational Facilitator Trainer. Creating informative and engaging lessons about the environment and Karura Forest. Passionate about education and inspiring children and youth towards achieving a cleaner, greener future.
Lucy Njoka
Education Coordinator. A conservation educator and nature lover. Passionate to promote environmental awareness and conservation.
Getrude Rop
I am an alumnus of the University of Nairobi. I am a passionate tour guide who respects and adapts to the diverse nature of the job, working with clients from all over the globe. In addition, I am a motivated and enthusiastic education facilitator, committed nature enthusiast and birder. "Every little step counts, together we can conserve our ecosystems".
Kenn Njuguna
I am an avid bird watcher and tour guide, dedicated to protecting mother nature. In addition, I believe in education and conservation, and work with children coming to the forest to inform them about the importance of forest protection.
George Mbugua
George Mbugua, a tour guide by profession. A passionate environmental ambassador to present and future generations. "Nature is not a place to visit, it is home."
Teresia Nduku Kimathi
A nature conservationist, with a key interest in environmental education and awareness creation, to ensure environmental sustainability and preservation.
Jonathan Sande
Education: I did a Diploma in Wildlife Management and Conservation at Kenya Wildlife Service Training Institute. Profession: Qualified Wildlife Manager and also tour guide. Work: worked at Kisumu Impala Sanctuary during my attachment in 2017. Volunteered with Team Environment Kenya in 2019 where we planted 10,000 trees at Nairobi National Park. Am currently working at Friends of Karura Forest for the past four years as a scout and education facilitator. I am also a photographer. Hobby: Sports, playing football, photography, and a vlogger (youtube).

Community and Stakeholder officer committed to creating awareness about the environment and conservation matters to all.
Martin Nzyuko Sammy
P1 Teacher by profession, dedicated and passionate about nature and educating the youth about the importance of conservation. Love travelling and environmental conservation.
